We’re starting off a new segment called Casual Fridays where we will be doing features on cosplayers in fashion or casual attire as they pose for our cameras. As much as they love cosplaying, cosplayers enjoy the occasional shoots in everyday clothes as well, and it isn’t an understatement that they have the makings of great models.
We’ve invited our premier cosplay model Nicole to be our first feature on this segment. She has been with us from the start, continuing to support us as arkadymac.com ventures into new endeavors. She started out as a fan, but now she has come into her own as a prominent cosplayer and competitor.
“I cosplay because it suits my adventurous personality, and it sends me to a world I never thought possible,” she shares with us. “I find it to be a chance for me to be artistic where I can express myself without limits.”
Aside from cosplaying, Nicole has learned a lot from her short stints in modeling. “I have become more confident about myself, something I had some trouble with in the past,” she says.
She has since learned to face and meet different kinds of people, and she has since found new friends who share her fascination and passions. She says she continues to learn and discover more things each day, and that she has had no regrets at all.
For one so young, Nicole is faced with many challenges at the moment, but she now has the determination and the courage to face them, and has come to appreciate the support she has received from everyone. Nicole would like to thank her many new friends who have helped her and gave her much encouragement. She says her world has become bigger and more colorful now thanks to them.
