An exciting new event will be rocking Manila early next year as JEFusion: The Japanese Entertainment Blog invites you to HENSHIN CON 2015! This convention will run for two days at two different venues.   arkadymac.com will be an official media partner for this unique occasion and we will be bringing you all the highlights as it unfolds.  Below are the details on JEFusion’s next year treat for everyone in the Philippines.

 

arkadymac.com was there at the press conference at Eri Curry in SM Megamall where the Japanese guests were first received.  Red Mask Ryousuke Kaizu and Five Blue Kei Shindachiya answered questions from the Media for Henshincon 2015. They also do something special at the end of the video we took below:

 

 

On the first day a launch party will set off the celebration which will be held at One Esplanade on March 21st, 2015. On the second day is the day of the convention and will be held at the SMX Convention Center Function Room 5 the following day, March 22nd. The activities on both days will be as follows:

 

Day 1: The Henshin Con Launch Party, 04:00 pm to 10:00 pm

 

JEFusion prepared a gathering for Filipino tokusatsu fans full of fun, excitement and experience. Guest performances are also offered by local J-Music performers to add more spice to your evening. Aside from that, a special appearance from veteran tokusatsu actors: Ryousuke Kaizu, also known as Takeru/Michael Joe/Red Mask of Hikari Sentai Maskman/Laser Squadron Maskman in the Philippines , and Kei Shindachiya, who is known as Hoshikawa Ken/Five Blue of the Chikyuu Sentai Liveman will be held; this includes a panel discussion and interaction with the actors themselves and a live tokusatsu stage show. Moreover, a tokusatsu item auction will also take place.

 

The admission fee for this opportunity will range from 1,500 to 3,000 Php and your seats will surely be available as well as your dinner.

 

Day 2: Henshin Con 2015, the Convention, 10:00 am to 08:00pm

 

The Henshin Con event proper will be experienced on the second day. Just like the previous day, local J-Music performers will also showcase their talents for another round and another live tokusatsu stage show to consider.

 

In line with event proper, contests will always be a part of it. So, as for Henshin Con, the following contests and activities will be open for all:

 

• Henshin Hero Karaoke Singing Contest

• Original Henshin Hero Character Design

• Henshin Hero Cosplay Clash

• Henshin Battle of the Bands

• Diorama Contest

 

Aside from the contest offers, there are also places like artist’s alley, matsuri booths and mechant’s corner available for everyone to explore.

 

Also, another special appearance from veteran tokusatsu actors: Ryousuke Kaizu and Kei Shindachiya will be held through a panel discussion. An autograph signing session will be honored to 300 persons exclusively. Given all these offers, autograph signing with the guest actors will cost 1,000 Php for 150 persons per each actor which will be available online soon on a first come, first serve basis.

 

General admission can be availed for 200 Php with the first 1000 peaple will be receiving a special baller with a purpose.
