This April, our good friends at UP Tomo-Kai will be having its 25th anniversary celebration, and they will be having four different events: a photo exhibit, an interactive exhibit, an acoustic café, and a Japanese-themed cultural festival—all at Hanakotoba: Poetry of Flowers. arkadymac.com is an official media partner for their events, and we invite you as our team covers and brings you the highlights of this fascinating set of activities in store FREE for everyone, even from those outside UP Diliman campus.

The overall name of the event is Hanakotoba (words of flowers/flower language) because of its theme, Spring Season. The 4 separate events are Banaag (a photo exhibit from April 5-8 at Vinzons Hall), Huni (an interactive exhibit on April 8 at Palma Hall 400), Indayog (an acoustic café on April 22 at Palma Hall 400), and Hiyaw ( a Japanese school-themed festival on April 29 at the UP Sunken Garden).  arkadymac.com has covered their anniversary events last year, and we assure that they are all well-organized, informative, fascinating, and most importantly, very fun for everyone, and all for free with everyone welcome to join.

The U.P. Philippines-Japan Friendship Club, also known as U.P. Tomo-Kai, is a duly recognized socio-cultural student organization of the University of the Philippines Diliman. They represent a strong tradition of 25 years of sharing, upholding, and enriching the cultures of and deep bonds between the Philippines and Japan, seen through their activities and events.

For an idea of what to expect, feel free to take a look at similar  past events they had last year:
