Be a part of history with fellow Yuri on Ice fans at one of the very first anime-themed events on an Olympic-sized skating rink at the Hear My Heartbeat: The #YOICONPH2017 Pre-party on March 10, 2017, 6-10PM at SM Megamall. Get to skate and live out the experience from last year’s smash anime hit Yuri on Ice, with a great program and raffle prizes for attendees.
Filipinos still have so much love for last year’s hit anime Yuri on Ice, garnering a huge following locally, enough for some fans to get together and organize an event for it, Born To Make History: A Yuri!!! on ICE Fan Gathering. It will be a tribute to the series for fans by fans, to be held on March 26 2017, Sunday, from 12:00nn to 7:00pm, at the Bayanihan Center (JYC Hall A), 8008 Pioneer St., Kapitolyo, Pasig City, Philippines. And just recently, the organizers have announced a pre-party , Hear My Heartbeat, on March 10, 2017, 6-10PM at SM Megamall. The demand was so great that tickets have already been sold out.
As for the program, attendees will learn more about figure skating in the Philippines and the history of SM Skating from the Philippine Skating Union, as well as get to know about our fellow Filipino ice skaters and their accomplishments and achievements in various international competitions. There will also be an exhibition skate as Joel Minas performs Eros that had over two million hits on YouTube. There will also be an Instagram contest where the winner will get the chance to have Joel be their coach for the event in a one-on-one skating lesson.
Attendees can also come in their best Yuri!!! on ICE cosplay or Yuri!!! on ICE-inspired OOTDs for some amazing prizes.
Though not yet on the pre-party, lots of exhibitors and artists will be supporting the main event on March 26 2017, like our friends from Perry in Disguise, with their new line of Yuri on Ice-inspired jackets.
