Manila will once again be the center for esports in Southeast Asia as ESL and Mineski-Events Team with PLDT and SMART bring Manila Masters this May at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.  With a hefty $250,000 prize pool, eight of the best teams from all over the world  will be battling it out for supremacy over three days of grueling DotA 2 action.  As the spiritual successor of last year’s successful ESL One Manila, Manila Masters is shaping up to be another defining moment for esports in the country as well as for the region.

After its instrumental role in last year’s ESL One Manila and other ESL projects in the country, the Mineski-Events Team will be taking on the monumental task of holding the very first SEA-organized premier global-scale event, with ESL continuing to provide its support upon seeing the love that Filipinos had for gaming.

As for the eight  teams who would be competing, Evil Geniuses was the very first team to confirm their invitation.  Completing the cast through invites and qualifiers are OG, Newbee, Team Secret, Team NP, Invictus Gaming, Faceless and the Philippine Representative, Clutch Gamers.  All are top performing teams and are all eager to claim top prizes and glory in Manila in front of some of the most consummate esports fans in the world.

The World’s top gamers gather for the 2017’s first international esports competition event in the Philippines to compete using the ROG’s best components as ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced its partnership with the Manila Masters to be the official gaming motherboard, graphics card, and monitor for the event where ROG will be present to continue its legacy of being the top supporter for landmark gaming events in the country. It will equip its players with the best computers to bring out the best in each professional player. Being the No.1 Gaming Brand Worldwide, ROG is committed to deliver limitless performance to every gamer and enthusiast using only the best components available today.
