A Glimpse of Manila Masters Cosplay

It’s been months since the Manila Masters, the first Dota2 event held in the Philippines for 2017, almost a year after the Manila Majors where a lot of pro gamers were invited from around the world.  Again our very own Filipino cosplayers showed their talents once again to the world what they can do for the Manila Masters Cosplay Competition.

The Cosplay Competition was held on the third day of the event after the Semi-Finals of the Dota2 Game between Evil Geniuses vs Team NP, where EG battled it out for the Finals.  The competition was judged by Dota2 shoutcasters Toby “TOBIWAN” Dawson and SirActionSlacks, along with our very own cosplayers, Fred Vinas and Kang Dupet.

A total of six contenders made it to the Stage Performance who got to battle it out for the Php 100,000 prize pool.  The winners were:
2nd Runner-up: Php 10,000 – Bolen Lareza as Techies
1st Runner-up: Php 20,000 – Jeffrey Miranda as Clockwerk
Grand Champion: Php 70,000 – Isaiah Luke Bellas as Timbersaw

The cosplayers all went home with a smile on their faces for the great experience they had at Manila Masters. Definitely, there will be a next year for this so to our dear Dota2 cosplayers out there, better prepare and look forward for next year’s battle.
