The local Japanese pop culture community starts off the year with a school event with TsuNAMIcon 2018 on January 6, 2018 at the PNU Quadrange in Manila.  Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.  With the theme “Bijutsu at Sining: Expanding the Horizon of JaPinoy Arts,” this event is committed to promote and share the different Japanese culture to the PNU community as well as integrate Filipino culture for better understanding and appreciation of the two different nations.  arkadymac.com is PNU NAMI’s media partner for the third straight year, so we hope to catch you there as we have a special coverage of the event.

One of the biggest highlights of TsuNAMICon 2018 is their cultural play, the Tanabata Dance.  Join the new twist of fate in the love story of Orihime and Hikoboshi, the star-crossed lovers.

There will also be meet and greet sessions with some very special guests, like internet sensation Kuya Sawa (Kuya Omurice) and performer Aisaku Yokogawa of TokyoManiLove.

There will also be a wide variety of contests and activities to keep everyone excited and happy throughout TsuNAMIcon 2018.  There will be a Cosplay Competition, a Drawing Contest, an Original Pinoy Music Singing Competition, a Spoken Word Poetry Contest, and Guess That Anime Song Contest.
