Come one, come all as Cosplay Carnival is back in town for its second straight year. Lots of activities, merchandise, contests, and special guests like Haoge and Alodia Gosiengfiao, were there for everyone to see. This activity-filled event’s first day was held at SMX Convention Center, Function Room 5 last March 25.
It’s already March and very soon the carnival will be in town—Cosplay Carnival! Come one, come all this March 25-26, 2017 at Function Room 5, SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Already on its second year, Cosplay Carnival by Cosplay.ph, promises to be even bigger than before! The event features some of last year’s favorites mixed in with some new additions, and with international cosplayer Haoge joining the festivities for an affair you should not miss.
Already on its ninth spectacular year, the biggest cosplay event in the country just can’t be stopped as it opened to much fanfare October 1 at the SMX Convention Center. Cosplay Mania has become an institution in the Philippines which has stepped up its offerings to its devoted followers in record numbers year after year. Cosplay Mania ’16 has promised to be the biggest ever, further raising the bar on how cosplay events are done in the country as it launched the Cosplay Mania Event Series and partnering with Sozo to bring I Love Anisong to the Philippines for the first time in history.
Otaku Expo Reload 2016 has always been a favorite among cosplayers and congoers as the year starts winding down, and headlining the event were a pair of prominent international cosplayers who have flown to Manila to join in the festivities and meet their ardent Filipino fans and fellow cosplayers. Tsubasa from Hong Kong and Misaki from Thailand had a number of meet and greet sessions over the two-day affair, something they and their fans got to enjoy.
International musician and artist Joe Inoue took time off his vacation to meet his ardent fans at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center in Quezon City. “Wildlife” is widely known to cosplayers as a place to do photoshoots, but this afternoon it became an unlikely but very accommodating place for the popular singer to get up close and personal with those who have been nothing but supportive of him.

Far from being the usual convention that cosplayers have gotten used to, Fantasy Quest would be bringing together cosplayers, photographers and enthusiasts from all over the country and beyond for a truly unique social affair, with an impressive roster of special guests and a special lineup of activities in store for everyone to enjoy to their heart’s content.
