The Mineski Cosplay Competition was held on November 30, 2014 at 4th Floor Annex, SM North EDSA. Its only category is strictly gaming so this narrows down the number of those who can participate, and as it turned out there were just under 15 who joined.
Ms. Alodia Gosengfiao made an appearance and entertained the crowd with a contest of “game-related pickup lines”. After the contest, the crowd lined to up to have a meet-and-greet/photo-op with Alodia.
Another contest was “Strike a pose for Iceyz”.
During spaces between programs, DJs were there to drop the beat and keep the people thumpin’.
The Sponsors’ Booths were still there such as PC Magazine, SteelSeries, Gigabyte, Viewsonic, PLDT, among others. NVIDIA’s Virtual Reality Oculus Rift Rig was specially popular (and so was Ms. Gliter).
I was lucky enough to win a goodie bag (shirt, mug, auto umbrella) from Gigabyte by voting for a gaming rig the day before.
