Superman of the Series Supergirl is coming to AsiaPOP Comicon Manila 2017

Get ready ladies and gentlemen (well, mostly ladies) as this hot Superman and Teen Wolf actor is coming to Manila as AsiaPOP Comicon 2017 is bringing Tyler Hoechlin to this year’s biggest pop culture event.

Who is Tyler Hoechlin? He is an American actor who got his big break starring as Michael Sullivan, Jr. in the film Road to Perdition (2002). For television he is known for playing the role of Martin Brewer on 7th Heaven and the role of Derek Hale on the MTV series Teen Wolf. In 2016, Hoechlin was cast as Superman on the CW show Supergirl.

Otaku Expo Reload 2017 is already this weekend, August 12-13 at the Megatrade Halls of SM Megamall, with even bigger contests and attractions you shouldn’t miss.

A Glimpse of Manila Masters Cosplay


It’s been months since the Manila Masters, the first Dota2 event held in the Philippines for 2017, almost a year after the Manila Majors where a lot of pro gamers were invited from around the world.  Again our very own Filipino cosplayers showed their talents once again to the world what they can do for the Manila Masters Cosplay Competition.

The Cosplay Competition was held on the third day of the event after the Semi-Finals of the Dota2 Game between Evil Geniuses vs Team NP, where EG battled it out for the Finals.  The competition was judged by Dota2 shoutcasters Toby “TOBIWAN” Dawson and SirActionSlacks, along with our very own cosplayers, Fred Vinas and Kang Dupet.

Celebrity Alert: AsiaPop Comicon 2017 brings in Cyborg

 

Once again the most anticipated western event of the year is coming, AsiaPOP Comicon is just around the corner and a lot of surprises are about to be dropped!  AsiaPOP Comicon released its first wave of guests a few weeks ago which includes the Artgerm, Alan Quoh, Simone Legno of Tokidoki and many more. A few days ago, AsiaPOP Comicon dropped a major celebrity which will be coming this year’s event and many others are currently spazzing on the said Hollywood celebrity.  Who would have thought that AsiaPOP Comicon could bring the one and only Cyborg from the upcoming DC Movie, Justice League?  Yes, Ray Fisher will be coming to Manila!

 

Wargods Shares Love for Gaming at Rampage 2017

With HistoryConPH 2017 happening next weekend, we’re looking back at the awesome scenes from last year. For the first time in Manila, History presents a four day event showcasing their shows, cast and partners. Held August 25-28, 2016, lots of people flocked to the event to enjoy seeing their favorite presenters and other activities offered.

Historical and Classic Cars/Vehicles were on display, while some areas had the latest/coolest versions.

The event also had it’s share of historical cosplays and cosplay contest on one of the days.

Get Creative: AsiaPOP Comicon Manila Announces First Batch of International Artists

 

From international artists’ Stanley Lau aka artgerm, Quiccs, Alan Quah, Simone Legno, to Jason Freeny, these creative geniuses are set to share their talents and insights to thousands of pop culture fans from all over the region who will converge at the country’s biggest pop culture convention.  And joining the first roster of guests are Cosplay Authority Global Challenge (CAGE) stalwarts Haiden Hazard, Philip Odango, Pion Kim, and Jin “behindinfinity”, to share their passion for bringing their favorite characters to life. The CAGE is one of the biggest cosplay competitions of its kind in the region.
