We at arkadymac.com always want to give you, our beloved readers, the best and hottest cosplay events and news from here and around the metro, which is why we have decided to expand our little party of intrepid adventurers with the addition of our newest member, Stephanie. We hope that you’ll welcome her with the same enthusiasm we have for her.
Stephanie has distinguished herself well in the field of battle, helping us out with our special coverage of Ozine Fest 2013. With literally thousands of visitors and cosplayers in attendance over the three-day event, one can only imagine the kind of work we had to pull off. Luckily, Stephanie was there for that much-needed boost of morale when we needed it most, cosplaying as Vocaloid Hatsune Miku on her first assignment with us.
As the newest correspondent of arkadymac.com, Stephanie has been designated the role of Genki Girl. She is our source of bubbly youthful energy and an endearing smile that melts hearts, two things that Nyanbu and Obito-kun can’t supply for any sustained period of time, if at all.
So with this post we feature the freshest face in cosplay reporting: Stephanie, in her inaugural photoshoot for arkadymac.com. Her prettiness deserves a better location or venue, something we can hopefully provide at a later photo op. She was quite shy at first posing for our great photographer, Buraimaku, but it eventually became evident that she was a natural in front of the camera.
Stephanie likes to watch anime, play video games, and share her thoughts on pop culture online, making her quite knowledgeable of the things this website is all about. Her favorite anime series is Fairy Tail, and its Erza Scarlet is her favorite anime character. The first anime she remembers watching is One Piece, when she was just 5 years old. She tells us she enjoys watching anime because she learns all kinds of interesting information from them, and that sometimes they teach about growing up and living one’s life as well.
As for games she enjoy playing, she notes The Sims 3 (Expansion pack), Minecraft, Grand Chase Chaos Philippines, Pou, Candy Crush Saga, Audition Club Dance Battle Philippines as just some of the many games she indulges herself in with her spare time.
Stephanie shares with us that she got into cosplaying so that she can feel what it’s like to be a particular character. She says that when she cosplays, she feels like she’s a popular celebrity as lots of people come up to her to take pictures of her and with her. In that way she feels like a totally different person, but that it is an enjoyable experience nonetheless. She recounts her first time cosplaying at the Cosplay market event where she cosplayed as Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. As for future cosplay plans, she has quite a few. She’d like to go as Alyss (Intention of the Abyss) from Pandora Hearts, Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail, Neko from K anime, Onizuka Hime also known as Himeko from Sket Dance, and Ciel Phantomhive from Kuroshitsuji someday. These are indeed projects she tells us we should look forward to.
For our readers out there, Stephanie has these words to share: Keep calm, and love cosplay and anime.
Expect to see more of Stephanie on our website as she helps us cover more exciting cosplay events in the future. Stephanie says she’d like to see you all back here at the site soon. Thank you for welcoming Stephaie along with us and we look forward to everyone’s support.
