Biography:
Hi, I’m Dianne, a Filipina cosplayer from Davao City. I’m a currently a college student. I started cosplaying in 2008 but only became active during late 2011. I grew up being shy and less confident, but cosplay helped me believe that I can be who I want to be. It taught me how to be adventurous, creative, and fearless. I got into cosplay due to the influence of Jin Joson and the Tux Team. I’ve been following their DeviantArt account ever since. Aside from being an anime lover, I also love J-pop. My favourite group is Hey Say JUMP. I’m also a fan of J-dramas and Studio Ghibli films.
I also post-process cosplay photos. It’s my specialty. I also become a photographer once in a while, when I’m helping out with my friends’ photoshoots.
Message to the Youth: This may be a cliché, but what I want to say to the youth is “Study Hard.” Balance your time well and do not let your hobby interfere with your studies. I do believe that education is very important.
Living “YOLO” may be fun, but you suffer the consequences after your actions.
