Get ready to run for your life once again as as Outbreak Manila returns this year on December 5 at Arca South in Taguig. Ever since it started back in 2012, Outbreak Manila has been held in different parts of the Metro, adding a whole new twist to the typical 5 km run and give people a a reason to run as if their life depended on it. This year, runners will have to dodge flesh eating, flag grabbing zombies as they conquer a crazy obstacle course.

We got to cover Zombie Outbreak Missions: Intramuros last year, and we’ll get to bring you the highlights again this year with our coverage team plus both cosplay runners and zombies as reinforcements, so we hope to see you there.
Join in the fun and fright as a runner. Come in your wackiest and funniest costumes! Prizes will be given away to survivors who take on the apocalypse in style. Each participant will be given a belt with three life flags representing their health. Zombies will attack them along the way to grab them. If a participant lost all their lives, they will be considered “dead.” Those who reach the finish line with at least one life will be considered “alive” and get a dog tag as proof that they have survived the run. This year will even be more challenging as they need to clear a wacky obstacle course while there are zombies on their tail.
Outbreak Manila is an event of unprecedented scope as Filipinos have long been fascinated with zombies and the many stories around them and have long wished to have an experience what it would be like if there was a zombie apocalypse in the Philippines.
