A colorful and enjoyable art and Japanese pop culture experience was in store for attendees down south as Arts and Anime Festival 2017 took off at PUP. Sto Tomas Campus in Batangas.  Organized by the Otaku Guild, it was a celebration of art and Japanese pop culture from students of the university and beyond.

Art, anime and cosplay enthusiasts had reasons to smile as the event featured booths that sold wonderful anime and cosplay merchandise.  There were some very nice toy exhibits as well.

There was something for everyone as Arts and Anime Festival 2017 featured fun games, an anime singing contest, an art contest, eating contests, band and dance performances, as well as  lots of attractions and features  in store for the many participants and attendees.

The highlight of the event was the Cosplay Competition where wonderful cosplayers from all over vied for honors and recognition with performances.  The judges included accoplished cosplayers Andrea Din, Rhaine and Saix.

While there we had time to take some shots of the cosplayers who attended, each of them happy to be cosplaying at the event.  We had a great time shooting them all over the campus.

The event concluded with the awarding of winners with some really amazing prizes from Otaku Guild and their sponsors.

Many thanks to the people from Otaku Guild for accommodating our team and congratulations for organizing a wonderful event that students of the university and guests got to enjoy and take part in.
