It was a fun yet competitive weekend for gaming as the NBA 2K19 Asia Tournament – Philippine Qualifier Finals rocked the Cyberzone Activity Area, The Annex, SM City North EDSA. The event brought together 8 qualified players who have won from the different qualifying tournaments for the chance to become the Philippine representatives for the NBA 2K19 Asia Tournament finals. We had our Correspondent Kazumi cover the event.
An 8 Man-Round Robin leading towards a Single Elimination Bracket for the Top 4 defined the tournament, and coming out on top after an entire day of furious action was Philippe “PBE_Philippe” Herrero IV, who won PHP 50,000 and an Asia Tournament Finals slot. 2nd Place went to Rial “PBE_Rial” Polo Jr., who won PHP 25,000 and an Asia Tournament Finals slot.
