The event that has had people curious and excited since it started, Yaoi Expo 2019: Omegaverse had people talking and coming through the Bayanihan Center’s doors in droves as it drew in fans from all over, with stellar attractions and special international guest cosplayers Knitemaya and Stahli. It was definitely a day to remember with curiosities satisfied at this strictly R-18 event.
Yaoi has become a phenomenon beyond a passing curiosity in the country as people have begun clamoring for it, which was why Yaoi Expo got to an auspicious start, and this year Omagaverse got to top that achievement with activities like Yaoi Bingo, Yaoi Auction, and Ikemen Cafe.
Special international guest cosplayers Knitemaya and Stahli were also on hand to take part in the festivities as they thrilled their fans in their meet and greet sessions, panels, and other appearances.
Enthusiasts also got to browsing and shop to their hearts content with the many exhibitors offering the best yaoi-themed merch and art you’ll ever find anywhere.
All in all a very cozy and engaging event where attendees definitely got their money’s worth as they reveled in their hobbies, passions and guilty pleasures. We already await next year’s installment.
