Despite three action-packed seasons, the league has yet to crown its first repeat winner which is a clear sign that the MPL-PH is still in search of the greatest team. Season 2 champions Cignal Ultra and season 3 champions ArkAngel have been eliminated, and Bren Esports is one player short of their season 1 championship roster.
As the fourth season of the largest mobile esports league in the Philippines comes to a close, what’s certain is the rise of yet another champion. Sunsparks, ONIC PH, Execration, SGD Omega, Bren Esports, Geek Fam PH, Ownage, and EVOS Esports PH have all braved the one-and-a-half month regular season to advance to the season’s culmination, but the big question is: who will claim the coveted MPL-PH trophy and the lion’s share of the $54,000 playoffs prize pool?
