Kath Denise Leads the Biggest Lolita Fashion Gathering this 2025 in the Philippines
Professional model, Lolita and Japanese fashion enthusiast, and Shifu’s Playbox owner Kath Denise Balod continues to make her mark in the local J-Fashion scene.
Earlier this year, she served as the head organizer of Summer International Lolita Day held at Hot Off The Press last June 7, 2025. Her most recent event, Harajuku Hangout, took place at Kyodo Spaces last September 27, 2025 and brought together a vibrant mix of J-Fashion enthusiasts — from Lolitas and Gyarus to Jirai-kei and Kimono fashion lovers and like-minded creatives.
Now, this rising organizer is preparing her most ambitious project yet — the biggest Lolita fashion gathering of the year:
LACE AND ICE: A Winter International Lolita Day

The event will serve as a magical year-ender for the Lolita community in the Philippines, celebrating friendship, creativity, and fashion in true winter wonderland style.
The celebration continues with an after-party coffee rave at the same venue starting at 8:00 PM, featuring a special performance by DJ NICDROID.
Among the special guests joining the festivities are Nessa Querubin-Quiambao “Babhiemiao”, founder of the Philippine Japanese Fashion Community, and the model-director duo Ayu and Den of YU-EN, known for producing the first crowd-sourced Lolita photomagazine in the Philippines, Lolita Mémoires, and long-time collaborators of arkadymac.com.
Guests can look forward to an afternoon of whimsical party games, a cozy karaoke corner, and adorable claw machine prizes by Event Catcher Co.
Dress Code: Winter-themed Lolita fashion — think icy blues, cozy layers, snowflake motifs, and festive flair. While Lolita fashion takes center stage, companions, chaperones, +1s, and curious guests are warmly encouraged to attend in formal attire inspired by a winter palette of blue or white.
