A portmanteau of nya, the Japanese onomatopoeia for “meow” and ANBU, the fictional elite ninja group in Naruto, Nyanbu is Xtian Mack’s customized character. As sometimes ninjas can be too scary for children, a cute take on the character can be a welcome diversion. Nyanbu’s alternate form consists of the cat mask, black cloak and paws. Most children find this particular form absolutely lovable and this form has become banned in three separate malls because Nyanbu was chased around by mobs of enamored little children.
