arkadymac.com was invited to cover Starmarie live in Manila at Movie Stars Cafe last April 30, 2014. The Japanese fantasy idol group was here in the Philippines for a number of performance for the benefit of their very eager Filipino fans. They will also be the guest performers at Best of Anime/ BoA Summer Live the next day at the Metrotent Convention Center, Metrowalk Plaza, Ortigas, Pasig City.
We’re lucky to have our coverage partner Jillian to do the interview with with them and our Public Relations Officer Kaloy to help us report about the event. Also with us in this special coverage were our partner blogs AnimePH and Otakista.
The Japanese fantasy idol group gave an exciting and riveting performance in front of an ecstatic crowd, with many Japanese fans also in attendance. Starmarie showed why they have a huge following in their native Japan and lots of fans all over the world, dazzling spectators with an enthralling set of song and dance numbers.
The night also marked the unveiling of Alodia’s Sisters, an idol group composed of the winners from the contest held also at Movie Stars Cafe last January. Rae and Lou gave the guests a reason to be happy about as they gave equally energetic performances on stage with their renditions of anime and Japanese songs. They will then be performing each week at Movie Stars Cafe, so please do support them and see their shows.
Movie Stars Cafe was the perfect setting for this event as it had he makings of a great venue for concerts and functions. Everywhere you look you’ll feel like you’re in a Hollywood studio with lots of statues and memorabilia lining the walls inside the cafe and attractions outside as well. The stage is very visible from anywhere and they had lighting and effects that make the performances all the more astounding.
They have performances all throughout the night,even on regular days. Their shows are well-choreographed and thought-out, with production numbers that are sure to be enjoyed by people of all ages.
The staff are courteous and thoughtful and were were treated to great service. Their food is also top notch from their skill and masterful chefs working dutifully from their open and very visible kitchen, assuring that your food is served properly and is of the best quality.
We would like to thank their management and staff for giving us an experience we won’t soon forget. We look forward to the great events held here, and we encourage all our readers to visit and experience for themselves the fun we had at Movie Stars Cafe.
