Japanime is one of the biggest and most exciting campus anime events in the country, and it will be rocking the PUP Sta. Mesa Manila Campus this March 20. Organized by Otaku U Rule, a network of campus-based student organizations aimed to promote youth development through Japanese pop culture, Japanime 2015 will be filled with games, booths, bands, cosplay, art and contests for the fun and excitement for Japanese pop culture enthusiasts from all over the country. Polytechnic University of the Philippines Otaku U Rule! in cooperation with The PUP Office of the Student Service, and co-presented by: SMART Communications, Friendster Philippines, URC, and Wakfu proudly presents JAPANIME 2015 March 20,2015 (Friday) at the PUP Freedom Plaza Open Grounds, PUP Main Campus, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Japanime 201 is a one-day open ground campus anime event filled with games, fun and excitement for anime lovers and gamers.

Although the event is free, you need to purchase the Japanime: Passport to participate in the contests.

Also in commemoration of its 5th Year Anniversary, Otaku U Rule! had an anniversary photoshoot at the PUP Main Campus, where we were invited to take photos of the members in their cosplay. We all had fun of course as we went around and took photos all around the university grounds. We also thought it would be a great chance to promote the upcoming Japanime event as the team just got the first posters.
