Get ready for a unique cosplay encounter at the heart of the capital as the 2016 Asia Cosplay Meet Championships takes place at Baluarte de Dilao in Intramuros on October 17, 2015, 2:00 pm up to 10:00 pm, with activities including bands, cosplayer contests, interviews and raffles. arkadymac.com is the official media partner of The 2016 Asia Cosplay Meet Championships, and we will be there to cover this event.
The 2016 Asia Cosplay Meet Championships is hosted by the Singapore Cosplay Club as Asia Cosplay Meet Championship since 2010, and the participating countries include Philippines, Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan, and will be including Vietnam in the future. The 2016 Asia Cosplay Meet Championships will be held during Cosfest SEA on a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship from Singapore on January 8 to 11, 2016. Since the start of this prestigious regional cosplay contest, the Philippines has won twice already, including last year. Past Filipino ACM Cosplay Champions include Jia Gold Bustamante, Abraham Enriquez Cruz, Lyron Aquino and Riyo Lendl Enriquez.
This event is organized in cooperation with DTI-CITEM and Intramuros Administration and is an endorsed event of Design Week Philippines. The event’s historic venue is just across Bayleaf Hotel, Mapua Institute of Technology, Manila High School, Lyceum of the Philippines and Colegio de San Juan de Letran and part of the tourist attractions inside Intramuros. Around 1,500 to 2,000 people are expected to attend this public cosplay event. The event will be on October 17, 2015, start at 2:00 pm up to 10:00 pm and would include other activities including bands, cosplayer contests, interviews and raffles. The main part of the event is the Asia Cosplay Meet Philippines Qualifier to select the three person cosplay team to represent the Philippines and fly to Singapore and compete in the 2016 Asia Cosplay Meet Championships.
