International musician and artist Joe Inoue took time off his vacation to meet his ardent fans at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center in Quezon City. “Wildlife” is widely known to cosplayers as a place to do photoshoots, but this afternoon it became an unlikely but very accommodating place for the popular singer to get up close and personal with those who have been nothing but supportive of him.
Joe has been in the country five times previously for guestings and performances at the biggest Japanese pop culture and music events in the Philippines, but this time he was in the Philippines for a long-desired vacation to get to see more of the country. He said he would have to go back to Japan in a couple of days, so he wanted a small get-together with his fans before that.
Around two in the afternoon he got to gather everyone in front of the Tea House. Joe thanked everyone for coming despite knowing full well how warm it would be. The weather was agreeable though, cloudy most of the time there with a gentle summer breeze every now and then. Joe admitted that he didn’t have an actual plan how the meet would go, and after some humorous exchanges the fans took the opportunity to have their photos taken with their idol and to have his autograph.
Joe wasn’t shy to share in some lighthearted moments with his fans.
The fans also took the chance to hand him their gifts as a sign of their appreciation.
He got to do a Japanese lesson video with the fans as well, dubbed the Best japanese Lesson in the Galaxy:

The meet lasted roughly an hour, but the time Joe spent with his devoted fans would be something they would not soon forget.
Many thanks to Joe Inoue for spending time with us that afternoon. Many thanks as well to his team of marshals for keeping the event safe and orderly for everyone.
