A staggering 50,000 USD will be up for grabs as Manila continues to be one of the center of eSports this year with top-grossing game CrossFire making its mark on gamers all over the Philippines by bringing the Crossfire Stars National Finals and CFS Invitational Manila. An online multiplayer FPS (first-person shooter), CrossFire (CF) carries on the grand tradition of fast-paced action that has made the genre a favorite in both casual and e-sports circles: close encounters, reduced to split-second reflexes and aiming skills, combined with a significant team dynamic, making for an intense adrenaline rush of a gaming experience.
Suit up as either the giant private military corporation Global Risk, or secretmercenary organization Black List, and experience tactical combat like never before through the game's rich array of weapons and equipment. SMILEGATE WORLDWIDE, the publisher of CrossFire in the Philippines, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, GBPLAY, INC., will soon announce several significant developments for the game. These include some exciting new in-game content, plus events that the game's many fans are eagerly waiting for—the Crossfire Stars National Finals and CFS Invitational Manila.
The said competitions are slated on October 14 (for National Finals) and October 15 to 16 (Invitational Manila) to be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. For CrossFire Stars National Finals, 16 teams will battle for 20,000 USD (prize pool) and the champion will represent the Philippines in the CFS Grand Finals in China on December 2 to 6.
Meanwhile, for Invitational Manila, this will be the game’s first international tournament in the ountry, where teams from the Philippines, Brazil, Vietnam, and China will battle for 30,000 USD (prize pool). Players from both local and international leagues will go head-to- head in an all-out action-packed operation that will surely get FPS fans cheering from the edges of their seats. There will also be In-game items and merchandise giveaway and raffle during both competitions.

**Reference picture must be clear with details of the costume. Photos must be compressed in a zip file, with their real name and game as their file name (eg. John Cruz LoveBeat.zip)
For on-site contest registration, they must come on October 14, 2016 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Participant must fill out a physical form provided. Kindly bring a printed copy of the reference picture of your costume.
**Reference picture must be clear with details of the costume. Reference must be full body, front and back view, full color.
All registrants are requested to be in their respective game division booths by 2:30 PM, wearing their cosplay.
2. GAME DIVISIONS
Cosplay competition will be divided into 3 Divisions (Crossfire, Love Beat and Weapons of War), according to the respective games of Gameclub.
3. GENERAL GUIDELINES
A. Costumes that are too revealing which exposes private parts are prohibited and will be disqualified.
B. Any kind of props that may cause harm to fellow contestants, event attendees and staff are prohibited. Sharp and bladed objects, real firearms and pyrotechnic props that may damage the venue are strictly prohibited.
C. Gameclub organizers and its staff will not be held responsible for damage or injury resulting from mishandling and/or negligence of a cosplayer in their use of props/materials throughout the duration of the event.
D. Contestants under eighteen (18) years of age as of event date must have their parent/s and/or legal guardian/s sign the waiver/image release form to be provided at the registration table.
E. Gameclub staff reserve the right to disqualify any contestant who ignores and/or violates any of the aforementioned guidelines.
4. JUDGING
A panel of judges will judge the contest with the following criteria in mind:
Initial Judging :
100% Costume Accuracy
Final Judging :
50 % Costume Accuracy
40% Performance
10% Audience Impact
**Only the top 30 registrants (10 for each game) will be qualified to catwalk for the final judging
**Additional points if participant can provide work-in-progress photos of his/her costume
5. JUDGING PENALTIES
In addition to the judging scores, penalties will be imposed on the following rule penalties:
A. Exceeded Time Limit (10% Deduction) : Each participant are only given one (1) minute to catwalk and perform, for every minute exceeded a 10% score deduction in the final judging will be applied.
B. Unsportsmanlike Conduct (10% Deduction): Actions that are offensive to other participants, a 10% score deduction will be applied to the final scoring. If this continues, it may result to disqualification or ejection from the event grounds.
C. Incomplete Requirements (5% Deduction): Incomplete requirements are subject to 5% deduction such as, missing reference photos, incomplete props, etc.
Judges’ decisions are final and cannot be overturned unless a major discrepancy is proven in the decision making process.
