Like good memories, good games never fade away, and most of us still want to play them. W at arkadymac.com and hundreds of others were happy to indulge in all games old school at Retro Gaming Expo 2019 last February 22 and 23 at the Expo Hall of Fisher Mall in Quezon City. Retro Gaming Expo 2019 was the ultimate gaming and collectors’ convention that brought folks back to the good old days.
There was something for everyone at Retro Gaming Expo 2019. There were cool booths at the Retro Tiangge selling rare and novel merch, toys, art, games, collectibles at wonderful prices.
There was also an exhibit that featured old consoles and other devices from a bygone era.
Attendees also got to play classic video game titles for free, like Contra and Battle City (Family Computer), Mario Kart and Smash 64 (Nintendo 64), Super Street Fighter 2 (SNES), Sonic Wings (Super FamiCom), Street of Rage (Sega Genesis), Sonic (Sega Megadrive), Xmen vs Street Fighter (Sega Saturn), and Powerstone (Dreamcast).
On stage there were contests and exciting giveaways. There was also an exciting cosplay competition where cosplayers battled it out with their colorful costumes and performances for recognition and some really nice prizes.
Card and board games also figured prominently at the event, with lots of fans and players.
All in all it was a wonderful weekend filled with fun and nostalgia where die-hard fans ad gamers of all ages got to relive the good old days and enjoy timeless hobbies across the generations.
