Already on its second straight year of showcasing talent and spreading the love and support for anime idols throughout the community, AICon: Anime Idol Convention, had given a spectacular time for idols to shine and take the spotlight last March 8, 2020, at Bayanihan Center, Pasig City.
arkadymac.com is proud to be AICon’s media partner for the second straight year, and covering the event for us was our newest Correspondent, Juju, who had fun along with many anime idol fans, enthusiasts, cosplayers, and fanartists at this extravaganza.
Anime Idol Convention 2020 turned out to be a day filled with attractions and activities brought out the anime idol in everyone. Fans got to support their favorite performers on stage for the varied and incredible contests that AICon has been known for: Mr. and Ms. AICon Individual Cosplay Competition, AI-Live! Singing Competition, and Beat Master: Cosplay Dance Competition, overseen by equally talented scouts, YU-EN Cosplay, Franz Uy and Mikachu!
Spectacular performances have become the lifeblood of AICon over the years, and there have been no shortages in musical and visual entertainment on stage as part of the various contests and categories.
With fun and engaging activities on and off stage throughout the event, attendees got to have a stellar time with contests, and got to enjoy browsing the many exhibitors and checking out the Artist Alley for merch, art and a whole lot more.
And at the close of the event, it came time for the awarding of all the winners of the various contests, culminating a truly incredible day for anime idol fans.
And of course, we were there for the cosplayers, which include our Correspondent Juju and Host Naru.
We are pleased to see that AICon has lived up to the wonderful expectations the community has had for it and we congratulate all the organizers for making it a truly AICONic event, and look forward to what bigger things they have in store next year.
