Ardent fans of the Square Enix mythos, games and franchise had a grand gathering to share their love and fascination last December 17 at Abba Cafe in Diliman, QC. The Squeenix Homecoming got together fans and friends alike for an evening of revelry, music and performances as they counted down to the actual 35th anniversary of Final Fantasy, December 18.
The organiers, Squeenix Heroes, has been together for 5 years in fact and they’ve always had love and support for various Square Enix games and its succeeding franchises. With its ever-active game producers and various media, as an organization, they aim to only give back that same love and passion for the games as an elevated fandom. Squeenix Homecoming 2022 aimed to return to face-to-face managed community gatherings in the hopes of reviving the same love they shared in person 5 years ago.
Squeenix Homecoming 2022 featured many activities such as musical performances by their members and invited guests, a karaoke open mic, games, and raffles.
They also took the opportunity to share more baout themselves and their upcoming plans and events.
It was an enjoyable and cozy evening for fellow fans who share the same passion and their admirable dedication to share their love for Square Enix to everyone, with more projects lined up in the future. Our gratitude and admiration to Square Heroes and Squeenix Productions for holding this event.
