The carnival is back in town as a new season of cosplay unfolds with Cosplay Carnival 2025: Spring Serenade, bringing an entire caravan full of attractions, booths, exhibitors, games, contests and special guests for everyone to enjoy last March 22 and 23, 2025, at the Halls 1-2 of SMX Convention Center.Manila. As the first of the “Seasons of Cosplay” series by organizer Cosplay.ph this year, the event was even more significant by having its very first and very own JAM Concert featuring sensational Japanese artists, Akase Akari and Shuka Saito.
Already on its seventh successful year of bringing the greatest shows in cosplay, Cosplay Carnival continues to deliver solid enjoyment and entertainment for its legions of loyal attendees. Already an established and much-anticipated event, this Cosplay Carnival did not disappoint its ardent fans with on-site attractions and its engaging and exciting program led by seasoned hosts Jill, Naru, Kenkoy and Envy.
Cosplay Carnival opened the season with a whole caravan’s worth of booths and exhibitors, with rare and exclusive merch as fleeting as sakura petals, which included irresistible art, toys, collectibles, accessories and so much more, like the freshest fandom shirts from T-Tees and the coolest hoodies from Perry in Disguise..
All-Star Avenue featured the community’s favorite cosplayers, artists, and celebrities in person that provided unforgettable star-studded moments as they began a fresh new season in the cosplay event scene. arkadymac.com’s Correspondent Jane was there to present her very first photo book and meet up with fans alongside good friend Eri Strawberry.
King Angel from Malaysia was also a very sensational addition to All Star Avenue, as she got to booth in the country for the first time and got to be featured on stage.
It was the season of serenades as Cosplay Carnival filled the air with the melodies that attendees have come to love and cherish. Fresh and heart-warming performances from some of the most talented singers from the community gave their best musical performances at crowd-favorite contest Cosplay Karaoke and Just Duet on the Cosplay Carnival stage. After the program was over, attendees got to unwind and enjoy themselves at Open Mic Karaoke.
The serenades continued with performances from incredible artists and Vtubers including Ivy!Musume, Ecotone, Radiant and Mihoyana.
Attendees were the spotlight with fun and engaging games of wit and perception like Frenemy Feud and the Big Picture as it delighted the crowd. Co-presentor Mountain Dew also had fun games with the crowd and gave away some very cool prizes.
Cosplay Auctions got to deliver the freshest deals to an eager audience, with some items starting at only one peso. At the last auction, the Karin Cosplay Carnival 2025 standee was also auctioned off.
A terrific delightful display of artistry and skill from incredible cosplayers from near and far tag in and out between brilliant performances at Cosplay OTP, with many great awards handed out at its conclusion.
A dazzling display of dancing talent from teams eager to make their mark on the Cosplay Carnival Stage ignited the spirit of the audience at Cosplay Group Dance Battle. Amid many breath-taking and superb performances from many teams of dancers, Raindrop wowed both judges and audiences alike to claim the title of Cosplay Group Dance Battle Champions and a guaranteed slot at the Cosplay’s Got Talent contest at ACX.
Cosplay Carnival 2025’s international guest cosplayer, Baobao, enthralled attendees with a special Q&A Session and a mini-concert, showing her talent and versatility as a cosplayer and performer. She also had Autograph Signing and Photography Sessions.where her fans got to interact with their idol.
Cosplay Carnival got to have its very first JAM Concert this year. JAM stands for Japanese Anime Music, and the JAM Concert is one of the biggest celebrations of J-music in the Philippines. The first-ever guests for Cosplay Carnival’s JAM Concert are two of the biggest stars in the industry. Akase Akari and Shuka Saito got to thrill the JAM Concert audience with incredible and powerful performances that left a memorable impression long after the concert was over.
With its fantastic assemblage of attractions, contests, games, attractions, guests and performances, Cosplay Carnival 2025 once again proves to be the greatest show in cosplay and J-music this season, with attendees leaving with fond memories that will last a very long time.
