Once again pushing the boundaries of music and fandoms was an incredible fusion of cosplay, Japanese pop culture, clubbing and in this edition, Vocaloids, as JAPANIGHT EX delivered an enthralling indoor music festival to the heart of Manila last November 8, 2025 at Brooklyn Warehouse, Recto, Manila . Presented by Otacute Evet DAO and Neiro Music Collective and sponsored by ITO EN and AlphaTheta Philippines, JAPANIGHT EX was a musical extravaganza for many like-minded communites they won’t soon forget.
As an impressive and long-running series of events, JAPANIGHT has brought the premier indoor music festival in the heart of Manila; Then presenting its new IP alongside JAPANIGHT 20XX and JAPANIGHT+, it was JAPANIGHT EX that for the first time delves into the world of vocaloids.
JAPANIGHT EX kept true to its core o its core: PURE ANIME CLUB with EXTRA! The event series started the revolution for the Anime Club scene, bringing new roots to AniSong DJs and performers and has since established its unique status as the platform for Philippines’ only Otaku Club. JAPANIGHT EX VOL. 1 with VOCALO-MIX was announced to be a gathering night for the Vocaloid fans. The DJ Lineup featured established local AniSong DJs alongside with new and debuting ones by NEIRO Music Collective: Headlining the event were AniSong powerhouses of JAPANIGHT Series, DJ ZEROBLADE (PH), and the community favorite with its power and anthemic vibe, NICDROID (PH)! With supporting acts of DJ SIGLUS (PH), HIROKI REE (PH), and debuting H. (PH), MIZE_ST (JP/PH), and DJ SAIGA! (JP/PH)
The vocaloid-themed party featured a Freestyle Dance Showdown by the community of MAXBEAT Philippines featuring:amazing dancers.in their community.
JAPANIGHT EX is has been a fantastic conflux of the communities that enjoyed music, dance, anime, and cosplay that pushes the boundaries of how community events can accommodate growing subcultures, fandoms and interests at a fun and accommodating venue.
