A treasure trove of priceless experiences marked a new year of cosplay as Cosplay Carnival 2026: Eternal Emerald delighted fans and attendees to no end last March 28 and 29, 2026 at Halls 1 and 2 of SMX Convention Center Manila.  As the very first event of the Prisma Saga Cosplay Mania event series for 2026, Cosplay Carnival got to deliver incredible attractions, booths, exhibitors, games, contests and special guests for all its attendees, plus a phenomenal two-night JAM Concert featuring sensational Japanese artists.

Already on its tenth amazing year of bringing the greatest shows in cosplay, Cosplay Carnival continues to deliver solid enjoyment and entertainment for its legions of loyal attendees, who got to experience fantastic on-site attractions and its engaging and exciting stage programs led by its amazing hosts Wacky, Pau, Envy and arkadymac.com’s Correspondent Naru. There were Cosplay Auctions that got to deliver the freshest deals to an eager audience, with some items starting at only one peso, as well as fun contests with Gold Sponsor Mountain Dew and Featured Brand Yoshinoya and irresistible DJ sets from Alpha Theta’s Saiga and NicDroid.

Once again, Cosplay Carnival opened the season with an entire caravan’s worth of exhibitors, over 140 booths with rare and exclusive merch including irresistible art, toys, collectibles, accessories and so much more, with attendees getting their fill of spring shopping.

All-Star Avenue featured the community’s favorite cosplayers, artists, and celebrities in person that provided unforgettable star-studded moments as they began a fresh new season in the cosplay event scene, like arkadymac.com’s Correspondent Jane, along with Shifu, Kyo-suke and Jeyel, AC, and guest performers, the First Takers.

Amazing musical gems were on display as Cosplay Carnival filled the air with the melodies that attendees have come to love and cherish. Fresh and heart-warming performances from some of the most talented singers from the community gave their best musical performances at crowd-favorite contest Cosplay Karaoke and Just Duet on the Cosplay Carnival stage, judged by arkadymac.com’s Correspondent Darene alongside Meiji Purin, Charity, Patyam and Tensai.

Precious performances filled with displays of artistry and skill from incredible cosplayers from near and far tagged in and out at Cosplay OTP, with many great awards handed out at its conclusion, with phenomenal cosplayers Taotan, Unorthodoxdesign and Kyo-Suke serice as its judges.

A dazzling display of dancing talent from teams eager to make their mark on the Cosplay Carnival Stage ignited the spirit of the audience at Cosplay Group Dance Battle, with phenomenal cosplayers Taotan, Unorthodoxdesign and Kyo-Suke serice as its judges. Amid many breath-taking and superb performances from many teams of dancers that wowed both judges and audiences alike, the winners claimed the title of Cosplay Group Dance Battle Champions and a guaranteed slot at the Cosplay’s Got Talent contest at ACX.

Cosplay Carnival 29026 was even more colorful by its guest cosplayer from Thailand, Taotan, who had special appearances and Meet & Greet Sessions. She had an interview session on stage and also gave a fantastic performance for her many Filipino fans. She also got to judge the Cosplay OTP and Cosplay Group Dance Battle contests.

Cosplay Carnival 2026 also had as its cosplay guest Mike Cameron also known as Unorthodoxdesign. He is a Canadian Cosplayer and a movie film worker who has made costumes and props for films like Avatar 2 & 3, Rings of Power, Thor Ragnarok, and Pacific Rim 2. He is also an award winning cosplayer who does panels on cosplay and he has judged at over 20 large events in Canada. He got to join in on the festivities at Cosplay Carnival 2026 and had an engaging interview session on stage..  He will also got to judge the Cosplay OTP contest and the Cosplay Group dance battle contests.

After Cosplay Carnival, it won’t be so far off for another the next celebration of hobbies and fandoms, a grand celebration for fans everywhere. FanFes 2026, happening on May 16 and 17 at Spaces at One Ayala, will be one of the biggest celebrations of fandoms and art, with many amazing booths and exhibitors, attractions and activities, and it was revealed that the special guest for FanFes 2026 is a multifaceted cosplayer and stage performer from Malaysia, Ryukku.

For the second straight year, Cosplay Carnival unleashed its own very own JAM Concert. JAM stands for Japanese Anime Music, and the JAM Concert is the biggest celebration of J-music in the Philippines, bringing in the most outstanding artists and performers with their unique and powerful brands of music, which include halca, Who-ya extended and Naomi Payton, with DJ Sigrid also performing on Day 1 at SACRA MUSIC Night. the guest also had interview sessions and special appearances during the main program to say hi and address their legions of Filipino fans. Both nights of the JAM Concert were incredible displays of music and artistry that had the audience dancing and singing along and left them with fond musical memories to last a lifetime.

With its fantastic assemblage of attractions, contests, games, attractions, guests and performances, Cosplay Carnival 2026 was such a big hit anong fans, cosplayer and attendees alike. After 10 years, it once again proves to be the greatest show in cosplay and J-music this season.
