Celebrating its 10th year of bringing the joys of anime and cosplay to its fans here and abroad, Anime and Cosplay Expo: ACX was a huge spectacle filled with an engaging and fun-filled convention experience last July 18 and 19, 2026 at Function Rooms 4-5 of the SMX Convention Center. With an incredible variety of attractions, contests, games, exhibitors and special guests and performers, ACX 2026 has proven itself to be one of the longest-running community events of its kind anywhere in the country.
Already celebrating ten spectacular years as an established major event on the community calendar, ACX has always provided the many fandoms with all the attractions they have comje to care about. With an awesome program on both days led by spectacular hosts Genre, Korin, and arkadymac.com members Naru and Zuzu, the fun and exciting contests and games that the community has steadfastly supported and loved.
Cosplay Karaoke Encore has always been a big hit with fans, and a lot of the community’s best belters were on hand to deliver powerful performances on both days to the cheers of an adoring crowd. The winners were chosen by panels of talented judges: Meiji Purin, Adz, arkadymac.com’s Correspondent Czyrah, and ACX’s guest cosplayer, CMYK.
Cosplay Contenders got to see some of the most talented cosplayers battle it out on stage through striking and incredible performances in head-to-head match-ups. The winners were selected by the panel of talented judges which included Housei, Jeyel and Gibs Sagun.
Cosplay’s Got Talent got to display sensational performances from contestants who were at the top of their game and truly enthralled the crowd with a variety of acts. Even though it was a difficult task, the panel of judges which included outstanding cosplayers Kyosuke, Seushi, and Gibs Sagun got to ordain the winners, who, as an extra but very much coveted prize, will get to be the front act for the international artists at Cosplay Mania’s JAM concert in October.
ACX also hosted the GICOF Philippines Qualifiers where 4 extraordinary teams of cosplayers battled it out for the right to represent the country at GICOF at South Korea.
ACX also had fun and enjoyable games and activities for the audience like Cosplay Auctions, Frenemy Feud and Don’t Skip the Intro.
Stellar performances from artist Rai and song and dance duo from Japan Nanai Tatai kept the crowd excited and wanting for more all weekend long.
Known for always bringing internationally renowned cosplayers as its guests, ACX brought in a legendary craftsman and a world-renowned cosplayer from Thailand. CMYK is a true master of his craft, achieving international acclaim as the Grand Prize Champion of the 2023 Gyeonggi International Cosplay Festival among many other recognitions. His work has been defined by intricate cosplay armors, mechanical precision, and an unwavering attention to detail that has inspired fellow crafters and creators across the globe. At the event, he had a very engaging Q&A Session, a special performance for his fans and Meet and Greet Sessions at the Cosshoppe to the delight of his Filipino fans.
ACX was an extravaganza for shoppers searching for all the merch they’ve been looking for throughout the year, with numerous booths and exhibitors attendees could enjoy to their heart’s content. It was a mid-year madness sale to stock up on all the wonderful anime merch, toys, collectibles and cosplay and fashion accessories that couldn’t be found anywhere else.
All-Star Avenue lets attendees experience the elegance of their favorite cosplayers, artists, and celebrities in person for unforgettable star-studded moments with their meet and greets and fabulous merch, including arkadymac.com member Jane Yu.
The excitement and anticipation reached its climax with the much-awaited lineup of guest cosplayers and performers announced live onstage for the upcoming Cosplay Mania and JAM Concert this year.
And of course, arkadymac.com was there for the cosplayers who avidly attended the event in their colorful and creative costumes. They got to enjoy the event having their photos taken and having photos with each other, all memorable moments.
