Still strong on its 8th year, Collecticon showcased the best of collectibles, toys and comics from here and beyond, with fun attractions and side events adding to the fun and festive atmosphere of this enjoyable two-day affair. Brought together by Hobbiworx and PinoyToyKolektor, Collecticon 2015 was held September 26-27, 2015 at Megatrade Hall 3 of SM Megamall. arkadymac.com is a media partner for Collecticon 2015, and is happy to bring you the highlights of the event, with our cosplay model and Photographer Czyrah to help us with our coverage.

The event featured exhibitors of a wide range of interests like toys, model kits, comics, collectibles as well as tons of booths selling related merchandise. Browsing through the many interesting things for display and for sale was a delight in itself, and one was welcome to geek out as much as they want upon the myriad of items found all over the venue.
The day was filled with games, contests and unique entertainment. Among these were the wildly popular live auctions, engaging band performances and informative (and amusing) discussion panels.
The Cosplay Competition featured cosplayers who took the stage and amazed the audience with their performances. (Please watch the video, around 53 seconds in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7FMjIrSH7I). The winners were announced at the end of the event.
To cap the the day off was Wanlu and his Puppets. Congoers, kids, organizers and booth personnel were drawn to his amusing performances featuring his exceptional skill at ventriloquism, and incessant laughter can be heard throughout the hall.
Cosplayers were very welcome to join in the festivities, and we of course enjoyed taking lots of photos of them.
