Filipino fans are ecstatic with the return of J-pop Princess and actress Nami Tamaki at the JAM Concert at Cosplay Mania as part of her country-spanning STARBOUND Tour. With her unforgettable first concert in the Philippines last 2024 having made history, Nami Tamaki fulfills her desire to be back for the fans who have never wavered in their adulation for her.
The world-renowned Japanese artist Nami Tamaki makes Manila a stop in her phenomenal STARBOUND Tour. Her incredible vocals have secured her dominant place in the anime music scene, well loved and well remembered for amazing hits for many anime series such as Gundam and D.Gray-man, and she returns to Manila with a full 90-minute live concert performance filled with her signature high-energy dance choreography and powerful live vocals at the Opening Day of the JAM Concert at Cosplay Mania 2026.
arkadymac.com was given the opportunity for an interview regarding her imminent return at the JAM Concert. We asked her what she missed the most about the Philippines since her last performance at Cosplay Mania 2024. She told us that “I truly miss all my fans in the Philippines. I have been looking forward to meeting you again.”
Having reached the pinnacle of the anime music scene with the respect and admiration of millions around the world, we got to ask her if she still remembers the first person who believed in her talent for singing.
“It has been my mentor from the vocal and dance academy I’ve been attending since I was 10 years old. Rather than just my singing, they were the first to truly recognize my total performance skills, including dance. They believed in me more than anyone else and always trusted me with crucial roles. Even now, they still come to watch my musical performances.”
We then asked her what has been her inspiration for launching the Starbound Tour across different Asian cities.
“With our 25th debut anniversary coming up in 2028, this tour was conceived to kick-start our journey toward that milestone. We look forward to delivering a dynamic and energetic live experience! Please look forward to it.”
As she dedicates the tour to the people who have not forgotten her, Nami Tamaki comes closer to an incredible achievement of reaching 25 years of giving her best performances to audiences all over the world.
