Making its grand comeback as it unites the local gaming community, PGF: Pinoy Gaming Festival 2022 delivers on its promise of celebrating the fun and excitement that gaming can bring to everyone. As a much-anticipated event that is free and open to gamers of all ages, PGF though its tournaments, showmatches, meet and greets and booth and stage activities, once again brings the gaming community together for a memorable weekend of shared passion for all things gaming.
Gamers everywhere were full of support and excitement as they flocked to the Music hall of SM Mall of Asia as they have long known the great reputation that PGF has consistently delivered over the years. PGF 2022 welcomed gamers of all ages who came in droves to the venue. Not only was it a free admission event, but PGF was lavish and generous with giveaways and raffles with many wondrous items given away. All attendees had to do was register.
The various exciting stage events had attendees in awe, fascination and excitement as they hooked the audience with huge showmatches, booth focus highlights, and special features like a cosplay make-up tutorial by outstanding cosplayer Jin Joson.
PGF 2022 had an impressive roster of sponsors who each had fun and exciting activities for everyone to enjoy. Gamers got to engage and interact to win exciting prizes. Brand partners Tencent, Acer and JBL got to join the celebration and had amazing giveaways and activities. Prominent phone brand Realme, and official gaming chair partner BraZen also participated at the event.
Making waves and getting much attention at PGF was Tower of Fantasy (TOF), the newest MMORPG from Tencent. The experience zone for gamers gave everyone the chance to be involved and to live the gaming influencer life just for a day. They had streamer zones where attendees will have the chance to be a streamer. Free play areas are also for those who want to try Tower of Fantasy. there was also a photobooth area where attendees can take photos, selfies and group photos.
Road to REV Major 2022 was also at PGF. In partnership with Cyberzone, the official venue partner, and GG Truck, Road to REV Major invited everyone to show-off their skills in Tekken 7 and Guilty Gear Strive (GGST). Winners of Road to REV Major 2022 at PGF are also heading to the big stage as they earn entry tickets to the TEKKEN World Tour and the ArcSys World Tour.
Attendees were also delighted that PGF was lavish and generous with giveaways and raffles with many wondrous items given away. All attendees had to do was register. Gamers took part in the different games, promos, and raffles to win PGF merch plus more freebies from partners and sponsors.
