It was an entire weekend of unlimited thrills, excitement, and activities at Cyberzone Geek Con DX, one of the biggest celebrations of geek culture in the country, held last February 22 and 23 at SM City Fairview. It was the exciting opening leg for for this series that will go all over the country where attendees get to go on a geeky adventures and explore all things tech and pop culture, and experience cosplay action and anisong karaoke contests with huge cash prizes at stake.
Cyberzone Geek Con DX was all about the latest trends, and all around the venue were booths by Brand Partners that offered an incredible tech, lifestyle, art and hobby experience for attendees, like MSI, WACOM, Akko, Gameline, Datablitz, PC Express, SM Malls online, Photoline, CO. the Collectible Store, and Coolext Zone, along with our Experience Partners PlayPark Razor Gold, and Ludus, plus highlighted games Genshin Impact, Magic the Gathering, Granado Espada M, Superstar Philippines, and Diablo Immortal, some of which also had engaging stage segments. Kira Omori also gave a delightful talk on being a successful Vtuber.
For the past three years, Cyberzone Geek Con has been bringing the latest in tech, hobbies, and pop culture to Filipinos, and for avid fans of cosplay, Geek Con DX went all out in its support, having cosplay parades, cosplay and photography contests, an anisong karaoke contest and special guest appearances by sensational cosplayers like Hippochii, Gelo Grayson, Maria Song, and prominent photographer Jay Tablante, all within a fantastic program led by amazing hosts Pau, Jet and JC.
Cyberzone Geek Con DX at SM City Fairview was an incredible experience for the many attendees all weekend long as they reveled and enjoyed the many hobbies and interests they are passionate about. This is the kickoff for a series of events that will happen all over the country to spread even more excitement, with the next leg at SM City Cebu on March 8 to 9 and then at SM City Davao on March 22-23.
