Shining brightly on its fourth fantastic year, the most enjoyable convention for fun and friendships returned to majestic Okada Manila last October 24 to 25, 2025. CosMeet 2026: Shimmering Sapphire had attendees celebrate the spirit of community with spectacular attractions, art, music, games and a special guest cosplayer, with entrance absolutely free for everyone.
Since its first tentative steps four years ago, CosMeet has come into its own as a special event that has continually exceeded expectations, drawing thousands of attendees to Okada Manila, which has been nothing short of majestic and luxurious. Cosplayers and attendees were impressed as they enjoyed going around the venue and having great photoshoots and meet-ups. This is why news of CosMeet in its first editions resonated well with the community, as it offered exhibitors, attractions, games, contests and surprises.
Cosplay Meet 2026 had as its special guest the exceptional cosplayer, Weian Vann. He is a wildly popular Chinese cosplayer with hundreds of thousands of followers across social media. He has received much acclaim and recognition worldwide for his intense and striking depictions of anime, gaming and movie characters, and he has been invited as a guest to the biggest events across the globe. He had a special stage appearance, judge the cosplay contest, and had meet and greet and autograph sessions with his Filipino fans.
The festivities happened all weekend long with an ecstatic lineup of activities that keep attendees excited and engaged from the absolutely impressive stage, led by brilliant hosts Joaqui, Korin and Kenkoy. CosMeet was all about the cosplayers and con-goers who wanted to meet up and enjoy their hobbies and passions.
Stellar performances from MiQx and ShounenJam had electrifying numbers that thrilled the crowd.
Attendees also got to claim the spotlight with engaging and enjoyable stage games like Duo Dash and Geo Hunter, and fun activities like Ready Set Auction and SideQuest.
Two huge contests were the highlights for each day, bringing much fanfare to the event. the Anisong It! singing contest got to showcase the musical talents of some of the best singers in the community. It was judged by respected musicians Nines and Miji along with arkadymac.com’s Correspondent Darene.
Cosplay Solo Showdown: Supernatural Edition saw cosplayers display their skills and talents on stage, with a supernatural twist as they try to outscare the competition with frightening performances. The contest was judged by special guest Weian Vann, seasoned cosplayer Kyo-suke, and arkadytmac.com’s Correspondent Xai YZ.
GICOF 2026 Champions Team Mythical Duo got to present their award-winning performance on stage and they got to be celebrated as the Philippine representatives who made the country proud.
CosMeet was also packed with a multitude of booths from many of the most sought-after exhibitors and artists filled with wonderful anime merch, art, toys, collectibles cosplay and fashion accessories that have been on much demand.
All Star Avenue let fans encounter their favorite cosplayers like Jane Yu, Katiecakey, Gyoza, Pomponmy and Kousei, and many more for meet and greets and fabulous merch.
The event also announced their upcoming events, Cosplay Camp on November 13, 14, and 15 at Festival mall, and Cosplay Matsuri, happening on December 28, 29, and 30 at the SMX along with its guest cosplayer Shokoboo. These are definitely things that fans can look forward to as they year comes to a close.
Also announced as probably the biggest surprise all year long was the return of the fan-favorite segment, Open Mic Karaoke, at Cosplay Matsuri 2026.
CosMeet 2026 was a fantastic event that brought cosplayers and their fandoms together to meet up and enjoy an event at a dazzling location with exceptional entertainment and attractions for an entire weekend.
