There was lots of fun and excitement at this week’s SMO Comic Con 2014 held at the Yuchengco Lobby of De La Salle University. It was part of the Media Week Celebrations, and it showcased the many talents of the different student organizations in the university.
There were booths, stalls, demonstrations, and a program which included talks by prominent local artists like Carlo Vergara and Rob Cham.
There was also a demonstration by Wacom about the many possibilities for creativity that their amazing products had to offer.
There was also a cosplay competition where cosplayers showed their mettle and skills to an appreciative audience. The panel of judges included the lovely prominent cosplayer Jillian Ongsip and model Cyen Lazam.
Jeasan Declaro won top place for his portrayal of Deathstroke and an exciting show of weapon-handling skills.
Cosplayers for Justice PH also graced the event and gave a talk about their love of comics and cosplaying.
