arkadymac.com was at the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia last weekend to cover the 1st MyPhone Youth Tech Congress last weekend. It was a unique event which had symposia, talks, a car show, product displays, games and a whole lot more. MyPhone is a local mobile phone brand which has taken huge strides in the past couple of years with an extensive line of great electronic products that has received a lot of support from Filipinos.
Joining us for this event is the newest member of our arkadymac.com family, Jillian. She’s a writer, cosplayer and photographer who has been helping us out this year and we know she’ll make a great addition to our lineup.
MyPhone showed its gratitude to the people who have supported them through this event, as they were generous in having this a free event, with lots of freebies upon registration and gave away many new great phones as giveaways and prizes.
The cosplay contest was one of the highlights of the event, with 27 contestants performing on stage with their awesome costumes and remarkable talent to the delight of the participants. Winners got to take home the latest MyPhone models as their reward, cosplayers which included chibi cosplayers Ashley Misaki and Bolen Lareza.
Well, we had fun at this event and it was quite well organized. We capped the day off watching the Pyrolympics display at the Bayside that featured France and Japan. It was quite a sight.
Thank you for dropping by, and do visit us again for more cosplay features here at arkadymac.com.
