Aerielle Pauline has enjoyed cosplaying as far as she can remember, starting out when she was only 7 with a ninja outfit and a Chun Li-inspired costume. Now she enters the cosplay scene as one of the freshest faces around, attending events and joining competitions just for the fun of it. She has definitely caught everyone’s attention, and we of course wanted her as one of arkadymac.com’s cosplay models. We now then present Aerielle Pauline in her first ever online feature.
Here, Aerielle Pauline cosplays Kurousagi, a rabbit-eared girl from Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sō Desu yo? (Problem Children are Coming from Another World, Aren’t They?), a Japanese light novel series with an anime adaptation. Kurousagi is a powerful being, though she is often easily distracted and is constantly inconvenienced by the other main characters.
Aerielle adores the series along with many other titles. She just loves to watch anime or read manga, usually while eating. She says she finds inspiration from those for her cosplaying, drawing and singing, among her many other talents and hobbies.
When asked to describe herself, she tells us that she has gotten used to smiling a lot, as her mom would constantly remind her that her face looked sloppy and sleepy if she didn’t. She also remembers being really shy as a child, but cosplaying and having her other hobbies has made her a bit more confident in herself, now being able to be in front of many people to show her many talents and abilities.
Among these, Aerielle likes to sing and has joined singing contests ever since she was but a child. She also likes to dance and has performed many times, particularly in competitions recently. Drawing and sketching are what she also loves to do, especially when she’s bored. Whenever she has the opportunity, she indulges in collecting clothes and shoes.
She says that cosplaying has affected her life in more was she could have imagined. She tells us that cosplay has become a hobby she has become really passionate about. “Cosplay is a bridge that can lead me to a happy place,” she tells us. Through it she has gained many friends and has become part of a supportive community.
Aerielle admits that cosplaying can be challenging too but is glad she has the approval of her parents. She says they would look at her strangely when she has a new cosplay on, but they still support her nonetheless.
As for the people who have been helping her, she has this to say: I would like to thank my parents for loving me , specially for being supportive ( even though i’m a pain xD ) – mom , I really love you and thank you for being there if I need help, and Dad! Thanks for supporting me. Miku and Melanie , thank you for being my best friends. Franz and Chantell , I love you both!
We hope that you can all support Aerielle as she continues cosplaying, and she tells us to watch out for more amazing cosplays from her in the very near future, so please watch out for more of her here at arkadymac.com.
