Already on a decade of existence in bringing delight to collectors, hobbyists and enthusiasts in the Philippines and beyond, Hobby@Worx proudly presents The Gathering 10th TAGCOM (Toys and Hobbies Convention) this coming April 16-17, 2016 in SM Megatrade Hall 3. As an annually anticipated event, TAGCOM will be two-day festivity and gathering of collectors and toy enthusiasts all sharing their passions to the hilt.
There will be exclusive series of activities that will sure be enjoyed by hobbyists and collectors. Expect a very exciting line up of activities which includes: collectors display and exhibit with life size displays, toy auctions, comic artist meet and greet, new statues unveiling, trivia contests, a cosplay contest, and a K-pop contest.
This event’s main highlights are 50 of the country’s top toys and hobbies exhibitor/sellers, a Gundam Caravan, and top comic book artist sketches and commission area.
Special guests headlining the event are Baozi & Hana! Baozi & Hana are partners both in love and cosplay. They are well known for the intimacy and accurate pair cosplays. Baozi is extremely skilled in propmaking while Hana is a make up expert. They will be in the country to bring a Two-day Fan Meet here in the Philippines, organized and handled by CosMerch PH, partnering up with TAGCOM for their guesting at the event. With them will be Hiro from Japan, and Aien, our local cosplay representative, as judges for the cosplay competition.

TOYS, FIGURE and STATUES – The backbone of TAGCOM for the past decade, this year’s event will bring more toy displays, a larger statue gallery, and of course, the ever famous grand auctions!
COSPLAY – One of the liveliest parts of an event, TAGCOM’s cosplay portion certainly kicked up its game
as not only a cosplay competition will be held, but international and local guests have been confirmed to join this auspicious event! Not one, but FOUR guests are to meet and greet their fans, namely Hana and Baozi from China, Hiro from Japan, and Aien as our local cosplay representative!
KPOP – This growing culture has been setting the music industry ablaze since the early 2009s and TAGCOM has included this as part of the event to bring in the young blood in the industry, making it energetic and livelier than ever! Of course, guest performers IVY! MUSUME, RAINDROP, and BOREALIS will be taking the stage to bring attendees outstanding performances.
