An amazing spectacle for fans of J-Pop across Asia awaits as they will have virtual front row seats to GEM’s biggest event of the year, ‘THE MUSIC DAY Songs for You.’  A stunning line-up of Japan’s hottest artistes perform live from Tokyo in a 5-hour musical extravaganza. ‘THE MUSIC DAY Songs for You’ will happen on Saturday, July 7, 4:40pm and will be hosted by Sho Sakurai from ARASHI.

Adding to the excitement is GEM’s partnership with top talent agency, Johnny & Associates, to bring the popular Japanese boy group Hey! Say! JUMP to Hong Kong to perform live as part of ‘THE MUSIC DAY Songs for You’ line-up.

Commenting on the event, Kota Yabu said, ‘’We held a concert in Hong Kong for our Asia tour back in 2012, but it was one of the places that we wanted to visit again as a group. We’re elated to be given the opportunity to visit Hong Kong this time! We hope to present our performance to everyone in Asia. Hey! Say! JUMP a nine-member band comprising Ryosuke Yamada, Yuri Chinen, Yuto Nakajima, Keito Okamoto, Daiki Arioka, Yuya Takaki, Kei Inoo, Hikaru Yaotome and Kota Yabu is one of the most successful groups in Japan. Not only have they conquered the music scene, they have also proven to be multi-talented with starring roles in drama series and movies, and as hosts in variety shows and radio programs in Japan.

Fans can catch classic dramas starring selected members of the group in ‘The Files of Young Kindaichi NEO’ from July 21, every Saturday at 10:40pm and ‘Sprout’ from July 22, every Sunday at 8:30pm.
