Truly a bonanza of anime, cosplay, idol culture and many of the things the community loves, Anime and Cosplay Expo 2019 once again showed how hobbies and passions still run deep ans thousands flocked to the SMX Convention Center for an entire weekend of revelry.

Already on its fourth straight year, ACX has grown from a tiny convention into a spectacle that celebrates what it means to be a fan., with more and more attendees joining in on the fun and action year after year.

Contests like Cosplay Karaoke Encore, Cosplay’s Got Talent and Solo Cosplay Catwalk got to show the amazing talents of the attendees themselves, and were happily cheered on by their peers. Those who don’t cosplay are hardly left out as games like Trivia Throne Throwdown and The Scene Zone welcomed everyone into the fun and gave away some really nice prizes.

Cosplay Auctions is a perennial favorite where everyone got to bid on great finds for incredible items starting for as low as 1 Peso.

ACX 2019 was also very significant to the community as it hosted TORCH (Tournament of Champions) Reborn 2019 that served as the Gyeonggi International Cosplay Festival (Gicof) 2019 preliminary qualifier. Four pairs battled it out in full, detailed and exciting performances. The winning team of TORCH Reborn 2019 was Z Warriors, who will be flying to South Korea to compete against other participating countries as the Philippine representative.

ACX 2019 also had 40 different booths catering to a wide choice of interests, from anime-themed merchandise, to toys and collectibles to adorable anime apparel as well as a variety of artwork that had congoers scouring every inch of the venue.

Also for the first time at ACX, an international cosplayer was invited to be a guest. It was none other than Thames Malrose from Thailand who wowed the crowd and had Meet and Greet sessions with his avid Filipino fans.

Mogu Mogu, Hello Panda, Lightforce, HKTV, Food Panda and the event’s official payment partner, Paymaya, were also at ACX 2019, providing stage games, fun activities, great prizes and giveaways.

And of course, we were there for the cosplayers, and along with our Cosplay Models and members, we enjoyed the festive cosplay mood with everyone at ACX 2019.
