There were lots of fun and surprises for everyone as the very first Cos Festival made a roaring debut at Greenhills Promenade last weekend. Presented by UNBOX Greenhills in partnership with Ozine Fest and Hobby Hive Café, Cos Festival was a free and open-to-the-public event which featured a Cosplay Parade, shops, a café, artwork, auctions, anime toys, raffles, giveaways and more, much to the delight of the many cosplayers, pop culture enthusiasts and even casual visitors alike.

arkadymac.com has long been a media partner for Ozine Fest, so we were thrilled to do coverage once again with our Correspondents Lia and Jane and photographer Jake as we bring you the highlights from this rare cosplay event at Greenhills Promenade.

Prominent cosplay and anime event organizer Ozine Fest partnered with Unbox, an established one-stop-shop for cards, toys, watches, sneakers, and beyond to bring the very first Cos Festival to the public. This free event has then been well-attended by the throngs of cosplayers and con-goers who reveled at the refreshing experience of having an event at a new venue. Unbox featured its shop’s best toys and merch within stylish and well-lit cases which made browsing for the most amazing toys, comics, and other merchandise an enjoyable experience.

Hobby Hive Cafe was also a part of Cos Festival and is a creative project dedicated to deliver the highest quality of food, drinks, coffee and service to anyone looking for a great treat. It has a great homey feel to it and the food was top-notch.

And of course, arkadymac.com is there for the cosplayers, and we got to see a lot of wonderful cosers showing off their best poses in their colorful and carefully crafted costumes. They had fun having photos with the crowd as well as each other, showing off how cosplay is a passion and hobby anyone can enjoy.

All in all, Cos Festival was an enjoyable event where the community’s strong love of anime and anime merchandise and pop culture brought out a sense of belonging and fun with everyone, as well as setting up the stage for a much anticipated event, Ozine Fest Mini 2022.
