The anime and cosplay community had an incredible weekend of attractions, games, contests, and entertainment as Ayala Malls Manila Bay hosted Anime Fair, a fun and fresh new event at a fresh new venue. Thousands of cosplayers and anime enthusiasts got to enjoy the festive mood and the amazing locations as Ayala Malls Manila Bay opened its doors to the community.

Presented by Ozine Events, the organizer of popular anime and cosplay events like Ozine Fest and Otaku Expo, and hosted by Ayala Malls Manila Bay, a scenic and trendy destination, Anime Fair was a two-day celebration of all things that are fun about fandoms, anime and cosplay, and it got to featured cosplay competitions, anime singing contests, games, raffles, giveaways, acoustic bands and much more. And a popular mainstay of Ozine Events are the sheer number and variety of booths and exhibitors and the Artist Alley where attendees got to browse and have their fill of all the merch they simply want to have, like figures, toys, artwork, stickers, cosplay goods, accessories, and so many more, making for some early holiday shopping indeed.

Ayala Malls Manila Bay was an amazing venue for Anime Fair, as it would be its first major anime and cosplay event that was free and open to the public. Ayala Malls Manila Bay was stylish and very expansive, with many generously open spaces for cosplayers and attendees alike. Ayala Malls Manila Bay was very welcoming and generous as it opened Japan Town, one of their country-specific shopping sections, and the Sun Garden to the cosplayers for many great photoshoots that are truly memorable.

Anime Fair had an exciting program lined up for both days, and one of the crowd’s favorites is the Anime Singing Competition, where some of the best singers in the community got to show their skills on stage in front of a huge and appreciative audience, with the winners taking home some very nice prizes.

Anime Fair can also take pride in having the very exciting and very engaging Cosplay Competition that saw 57 very talented cosplayers impressing the judges and the audience with very skillful and very entertaining performances over the two days of the event. The winners who prevailed got tremendous admiration from their peers and great prizes for them to take home. arkadymac.com’s Correspondents Raven, Nicolette, Anmu and DK got to serve as the judges for the competition, a difficult task as there have been so many incredible performances from the contestants.

There were also acoustic performances from some very talented musicians that gave melodious renditions of favorite songs from anime, much to the enjoyment of the crowd.

And of course, arkadymac.com was there for our beloved community of cosplayers, who got to enjoy the event and the wonderful new venue that Ayala Malls Manila Bay offered. They had memorable photoshoots at the many stylish locations, had their photos taken by mallgoers and fellow cosplayers, and had fun in the company of people with the same fandoms. They have said that they would want to have another cosplay event at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, which has treated the community very well.

We are grateful to Ozine Events and Ayala Malls Mani Bay for bringing Anime Fair to life and providing another exciting, fun and memorable event to the community. Congratulations on a successful event, and we are already looking forward to the next one.
