Making its grand return on its 12th incredible year of bringing fun and excitement to fans of hobbies and collectibles everywhere, Collecticon 2022 opened its doors last November 12-13, 2022 at SMX Function Room 2 SMX Convention Center for a fabulous two-day celebration and gathering of collectors and toy enthusiasts from all over the country, featuring over 60 booths by amazing toy sellers and retailers.
Consistently and thoughtfully nurturing and supporting the many hobby communities in the Philippines over 12 long years, Collecticon has always been a much-anticipated event by fans. Every year, Collecticon has proven to be the ultimate gathering of collectors, hobbyists, and toy enthusiasts locally and internationally. With 60 astounding booths and exhibitors displaying and selling their merchandise at this year’s event, any fan could be sure to find something they’ve always wanted. With lots of toy sellers and retailers from the Metro and beyond, attendees got to have a great time browsing through the many displays and exhibits.
Collecticon 2022 has always drawn an impressive list of sponsors that delighted attendees with presentations of their latest products and services, as well as contests, games, and many giveaways, including Razer Gold, McFarlane Toys, PNYX, and Connect.
Bringing energy and entertainment to Collecticon 2022 were some very talented groups like Happy Sekai, Poly V, Shazu, Cess, and Ivy Musume who had very engaging performances on stage, much to the delight of the audience.
A fun and engaging lineup of activities and attractions made the event even more exciting. There were fun auctions, on-stage contests, and the K-pop cosplay and dance competitions.
Off the stage, there have been many other attractions keeping their fandoms happy and excited, like card tournaments, a colorful Artists Alley, the Fightsaber Philippines booth, and a lot more.
Collecticon 2022 was a very enjoyable event for the many fandoms that got together to share their common interests and passion, and that enthusiasm and dedication of course, over its 12 years of existence, has always made it a classic, favorite event by the community.
