Japan Fiesta is back once more for its annual showcase of the Japanese Culture and festivities that happens all year round. Showing other parts of the country that has historical memories that are sure to pique your interest once you have decided to go and visit. A lot of booths are set up around the Activity Center of Glorietta 2 and the exhibitors are ready to showcase Japanese Culture as well at the history in their cities.
Japan Fiesta also had some spectacular performances from R Rules, Namahage Satokagura, Taiko Drummers, and of course our very own MNL48. Each performance was amazing to watch and people are all singing along to the music.
There are booths where in you can try out and wear a Yukata and have a photo taken, or show off your skills in playing the Kendama or Shateki and get some amazing prices and many many more games that can be seen in Japanese Festivals.
There are a lot of airlines that have promos with regards to flights going to Japan and they have assistance when it comes to processing visas. A lot of people are falling in line to get updates about the said promos and it is a very good time to go to Japan as well for their borders are open and accepting tourists once more. Organizations and associations from cities and prefectures were also there to promote and advise to go to Japan during the Spring – Fall season and explore the beauty of the country.
Of course, what everyone loves, Japanese food are being sold around the venue as well. Gyoza, Kirin Beer, Fuwa-Fuwa is also there, skewers are also being sold and of course everyone’s favorite chocolate snack, Pocky is there giving away ballons and many more.
OtaCute held a giveaway for cosplayers who are at the Japan Fiesta. Fabulous cosplayers grace the stage and showcasing the cosplay and portraying the character with a small skit prepared. Judges will choose 2-3 winners. Everyone was wonderful and you can see that they enjoy what they are all doing.
Japan Fiesta is one of the events that is very casual and yet you can see that everyone gets along. It was also great because there are Japanese who went to the event and seeing the food and drinks they missed are available there. I saw one that bought a lot of the Nissin Donbei Kitsune Udon honestly it is rare now that you can find that in supermarkets or any specialty shops so I understand that he got most of what the store is providing. Its wonderful that after 2-3 years Japan Fiesta is back and sharing more news and updates as to how Japanese culture is in their eyes.
