The Japan Foundation, Manila has become one of the more prominent institutions that has become recognized by the local cosplay community as it has been supportive of activities and events that foster the love and passion for Japanese culture. They were therefore a pleasant sight as they had an exhibit and booth at Otaku Expo Tanabata 2023 last August 19-20, 2023 at Megatrade Halls 1-3 of SM Megamall.

The Japan Foundation, Manila booth had a fun photo area where cosplayers and attendees alike enjoyed taking snaps at.

JFM also got to promote and give away their IRODORI Filipino Version books meant for institutions that teach Nihongo for free, as well as free sample lessons taken from the IRODORI Filipino version tfor individuals interested in learning Nihongo. arkadymac.com’s Correspondents and Cosplay Models Raven and Xai were there to help out with the promotions. Our team with Rica and Yanna also got to drop by the booth to have a look and some photos as well.

The IRODORI Textbooks are FREE Nihongo Learning Materials specially produced for those who want to live and work in Japan. It contains useful tips about life in Japan (referred to as 日本の生活TIPS/ Seikatsu Tips inside the book), as well as useful and practical Nihongo phrases for a wide variety of situations.
