With already two very successful editions of their well-received fan-centric events, Cosplay Up! is back this 2024 and will once again connect fans with their idols on February 23 to 25, 2023, at Starmall EDSA – Shaw. Now with even more guest cosplayers, performers, artists and Vtubers from all around the world set to join in the festivities, this year’s Cosplay Up! got even more exciting as a truly engaging and memorable event for fans by fans.
Organized by One Final Dream, an ardent cosplay fan group which aims to invite cosplayers from all over the world, Cosplay Up has been a cosplayer and fan-centered event that features activities where members of the community can share and show off their talents as well as a venue for fans to meet and get to know more about their idols.
Cosplay Up 2024 proudly presented their first guest performer! She’s the former lead vocalist of THE HOOPERS under the name “Mirai” (未来). Notably, she has collaborated with コバソロ (Kobasolo) in doing notable song covers such as “Sugar Song to Bitter Step”, Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku”, and “Sekai wa Koi ni Ochiteiru
Cosplay Up 2024 has also unveiled their first international guest cosplayer. Nessarose Cosplayer hails from Malaysia and it will be her first time in the Philippines. She has cosplayed notable characters from mobile games and anime like Genshin Impact (Eula, Ganyu), Nikke: Goddess of Victory (Rapi, Viper, Jackal, Helm), Rem (Re:zero), Yor Forger (SPYxFAMILY), and Ai Hoshino (Oshi no Ko).
Cosplay Up! 2024 proudly announced another guest performer, Hanatan, also known as YuRiCa/ Cordelia, who is coming to Manila and will be performing live in person. She started her career as an utaite in 2008. She is famous for her covers of Romeo and Cinderella, Tengaku, and many others. Also, she debuted as a Vtuber in 2022. For her major debut, she recently sang “アルカンシェル (Arc-en-ciel),” the opening theme song of the anime Tensei Oujo to Tensai Reijou no Mahou Kakumei (転生王女と天才令嬢の魔法革命), also known as The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady.
Cosplay Up! 2024 also announced as one of their performers Miori Celesta as she will be streaming at the event, Miori is a quest-loving adventurer on a journey with her slime companion, Mogu! Be prepared as she will liven up the event with her amazing songs and amusing personality.
Announced just recently, Cosplay Up! 2024 is proud to present their latest special guest Yurisa, a well-renowned cosplayer and J-pop cover artist from South Korea.
There will also be a lot of local cosplayers, artists and personalities set to join in the fun, bringing their own brand of engagement to the event.
The VIP Access Area’s Stage Schedule has also been announced for the attendee’s guidance.
