The Cosplay Mania 2024: Chronicles of Cosmania Event series got to close out the year with its much-awaited final chapter, Cosplay Matsuri 2024: Earthen Requiem, last December 28, 29, and 30, at Function Rooms 2-5 of SMX Convention Center Manila. Providing an avalanche of fun and enjoyment with non-stop contests, special guests entertainment and attractions, the community was treated to a huge and memorable year-end festival.
With festivities spanning four entire function rooms of the SMX Convention Center, Cosplay Matsuri 2024 was one of the biggest ever, presenting numerous attractions, with over 230 exhibits and booths filled to the brim with all the irresistible merch, toys, accessories and collectibles that every con-goer had been looking forward to all season.
The All Star Avenue was also a fabulous attraction as it drew in fans from near and far with its incredible lineup of some of the most admired celebrities and cosplayers in the community, including our website’s Correspondent, Jane Yu.
Cosplay Matsuri 2024 was made even more vibrant with special guest cosplayer Munoko taking part in the festivities, with fascinating onstage segments as well as Autograph Signing and Photography Sessions that fans of cosplay couldn’t resist.
Lively and engaging daily stage programs filled with fun and exciting activities will keep attendees enthralled with games and activities for the audience like Cosplay Auctions, Dance Renegade, the Ano Na Wa Name Game, the Maya contests, SideQuest Raffles, Attack on Titan recap screening by Muse Asia, and Open Mic Karaoke.
Crowd-favorite featured contests like the Anisong It Singing Contest, the Dokuen Cosplay Competition and Doujin Dance Duo, all got to showcase the community’s talents and skills while celebrating the holidays with everyone in the community. arkadymac.com is proud to have our members Jane Yu and Czyrah as judges for the contests.
Talented guest performers, artists and Vtubers got to complete the festive atmosphere with on-stage spectacles for festival-goers to enjoy as YSLA, AnnChan, Shamiboi, VOLS Project, Globie, and Dayjobu delighted the audience with unparalleled performances.
Cosplay Matsuri also got to announce the dates for the many incredible events that the community can look forward to in the new year, as they also announced the thrilling guests for Cosplay.ph’s first event in 2025, Cosplay Carnival.
With all these exciting attractions and activities, Cosplay Matsuri 2024 got to be one big year-end gathering that the community truly enjoyed. As Cosplay Matsuri became a satisfying closure to 2024, it also heralded an exciting new year for cosplay in 2025.
