
It was a pleasant escape to the warm and sparkling world of arts and crafts at FanFes 2025, held last May 17 and 19, 2025, at Halls A, B, C & D of Space at One Ayala. Billed as a Summer Spectacular, FanFes was a fascinating festival of incredible art, crafts, and performances that enchanted attendees for an entire weekend.


With 2,700 square meters of floor space across Halls A, B, C & D of Space at One Ayala, FanFes was a showcase of the best in fan-derived and original content from amazing creators. With a blistering number of exhibit booths, this event supports our incredible local talent who produce original as well as fan-derived work. Attendees were dazzled by the exquisite creations of artists who have poured their burning passion and talent into artwork, collectibles, merch and accessories, each a unique and genuine masterpiece.











Of course, there were other amazing exhibits from Co-presentor Mobile Legends Bang Bang and Silver sponsor PUBG Mobile, making FanFes a gaming extravaganza over both days. Brother International was also there to present their trusted and reliable probucts.






All Star Avenue got to feature some of the most prominent artists, cosplayer s and performers in the country, with attendees flocking to their idols for meet and greets and merch over both days of the event.

The stage was ablaze with the hottest in entertainment led by FanFes’ sensational hosts: Pau, Korin and Kenkoy.



The community was ecstatic to see FanFes’ amazing guest cosplayer phenomenal cosplayer on her third visit to the country. Rithe is an internationally recognized cosplayer and video creator who once represented Singapore at World Cosplay Summit. She enthralled FanFes attendees at a Q&A session on stage then as a member of a panel with Think Talk, and judging cosplay contests besides her exclusive meet and greets at the Cosshoppe booth.





Another spectacle at FanFes was a fiery performance from the extremely talented. genre-defying breakout artist, songwriter, and performer from the US who has contributed to projects including Netflix’s Arcane, Amazon Prime Video’s Invincible, Call of Duty, and Fortnite. At just 20 years old, he is a voice for his generation. d4vd.gave an impressive performance and surprised the community as he came out of the stage cosplaying Sasuke from Naruto, with the special participation of Myrtle. Fans went wild before and after his performance as he revealed amazing facts about him at his follow-up interview. He said it was his first time cosplaying and it was his first anime convention and that he said he’ll definitely go back to the country.







Fan-favorite contests also rocked the FanFes stage, like Anisong Unleashed and Cosplay Karaoke, which saw some of the most amazing singers from the community giving their best performances.









Other fan-favorites were the Solo Cosplay Catwalk and the very first Sun and Sea Cosplay Contest, which saw the incredible performances from some of the most talented cosplayers in the community.
















Performances from outstanding local groups Ziuu and Cinque gave powerful song and dance numbers for the FanFas audience over the weekend, and Vtuber Cornelia star also gave the audience a great virtual performance.




Stage contests like Facepalm the Music, Price Fight and Guess the Sketch provided the audience with a fun and engaging experience while winning some really nice prizes. Mobile Legends Bang Bang had exciting showmatches on stage and Yoshinoya had their fan-favorite Gyudon Eating Contest to the enjoymnent of the attendees. And of course, Cosplay Auctions got to see some heated bids over some wonderful merch.







Think Talk was an enjoyable talk show that got to discuss two fascinating topics over two separate editions: “So you want to be a V-tuber?” and “Boothing in another World.” Two sets of prominent panelists got to share their insights and helped the audience understand the in and outs of the industry.





And as FanFes 2025 drew to a close, they announced Cosplay.ph’s next major event, ACX 2025, was promoted and Kanalyss was revealed to be its special guest cosplayer.


With its many attractions, special guests, performances, contests, exhibits, booths and many more, FanFes once again gave the fans what they wanted and more, and it has made this season a summer to remember.
